EU Announces Glitter Ban: Glitternisti’s continues with eco-friendly focus
The EU has recently announced its decision to ban the sale of loose glitter starting from October 17th, 2023. While such a change has been anticipated and is indeed positive for the environment, the timeline is rather tight.
We are awaiting official guidance from Finnish authorities. In the meantime, we will continue on our current path and focus on expanding our ecoglitter range, which, according to current information, will not be affected by the upcoming ban. We had already planned on transitioning entirely to ecoglitter, and this decision accelerates that process. Currently, we have many questions regarding the new announcement.
It’s important to note that Glitternisti’s operations will continue as usual. Our online store remains open to customers, and all booked events will be carried out as agreed now and in the future.
