We discovered Face Lace facial stickers through social media years ago. The incredibly stunning, handmade stickers designed by Phyllis Cohen captivated us immediately, and finally, it was the right time to add these products to our online store’s selection.
Face Lace facial stickers originated from a professional need and artistic challenge to create complex makeup designs that could be applied quickly, look precise, and stay perfect until removed.
In 2010, Phyllis Cohen began researching what would be needed to create reliable self-adhesive facial stickers. Phyllis taught herself to use software and production machines and explored numerous adhesive options to find the best skin-friendly glue in terms of safety and durability.
Face Lace was launched in 2012 and immediately became a popular product among makeup artists and the public who wanted dramatic but reliable makeup results quickly. It has been used for quick makeup look updates in many popular TV shows, such as ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, ‘X Factor’, and ‘The Voice’. Face Lace stickers have also been trusted in several movies, like Gaga’s ‘A Star is Born’, the award-winning ‘The Favourite’, and Tim Burton’s ‘Dumbo’.
Face Lace cemented its cult status when used by makeup artist Donni Davy in the hit series ‘Euphoria’. How to use Face Lace stickers
Using the face stickers is as easy as you can imagine. First, remove the sticker from its base and place it on the desired area. You can use tweezers, a cotton swab, or, for example, a Glitternisti wax pencil for assistance. The sticker can be used multiple times. It adheres best to clean skin / lightly made-up skin. Adhesion can be strengthened, for example, with glitter glue or eyelash glue.
The adhesive used in Face Lace facial stickers is high-quality hypoallergenic (latex-free) medical glue, approved for cosmetic use. Of course, care must be taken when applying the stickers to ensure that the glue does not get into the eyes. The glue complies with the EU Cosmetics Directive, REACH regulation, and is approved by FDCA & Prop 65.
